Alexandra Graski-Hoffmann on the future of art fairs

Gallery owner Rudolf Leeb talks to Alexandra Graski-Hoffmann, owner and managing director of Mac-Hoffmann, the renowned Austrian organizer of art and enjoyment fairs, about the challenges for her industry in times of the Corona crisis and the difficult situation of the art market and galleries in general.

The conversation was started at the beginning of May 2020, the week before the resignation of Ulrike Lunacek, then State Secretary for Culture, in which the anger and the grant of the cultural scene reached a climax. At the time of the conversation, the so-called catalogue of measures announced by the Vice-Chancellor and the Minister of Health was also not yet known. From this we have taken with us the commitment of the Federal Government that the art and culture industry should be given air to breathe again and a leeway to live.

The podcast has been resumed via Skype. We hope you enjoy listening to the conversation with a successful industry expert.
