Woman creates space
For many women*, violence in partnerships is an everyday occurrence. There are many different forms of violence. It is often difficult to determine when caution is required or when violence begins. Online, you often come across short videos in which users talk about their "red flags". These lists are often humorous, but serious warnings are also shared.
In an anonymized process (until 15.10.2024), Ana Loureiro and Zhanina Marinova are asking women* online and analogously what they want to warn other women* about based on their experiences. Which actions and statements can be a warning sign that a partnership could be characterized by a form of violence? The artists will use the collected "Red Flags" to develop a room-filling installation that focuses on solidarity and prevention.
