Just like Sleeping Beauty, the cultural scene and the entire economic, social and private life has been put into a sudden deep sleep by the Corona pandemic. The phase of revival has begun, albeit still very frothy for many areas. We are living in a kind of "stand-by mode", waiting for someone from outside to press the power button again.
In the exhibition business we can show exhibitions, but only without the usual rituals like vernissages, artist talks, afterworks or finissages. The cultural scene, the gallery world is worldwide on Stand by switched on. The artists work in their studios and ateliers, but this time not in a self-imposed isolation, but in one imposed from the outside.
In the exhibition "stand by" we show works that were partly created during this phase, but also works that the artists want to show right now.
We give you and the art-interested public the opportunity to get used to the real exhibition business again and to enjoy an analog art experience together with a few friends.
