A unifying element in the work of Viktoria Morgensternwho studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, uses fine steel, brass, wood and the occasional found object. It is intuitive work "with a lot of feeling", as the artist describes it. Starting from lines, the sculptures become bodies and the bodies become idiosyncratic characters. In addition to sculpture, however, text, drawing and photography also play a role in Viktoria Morgenstern's work.
