In the clouds

The idea of being human connects with a place between the clouds. It is a time out, a moment of silence to devote themselves to certain topics in peace. Each image is in itself a small, self-contained cosmos and the implementation is colorful, symbolic and humorous. There are always several levels that work simultaneously and create balance in a world full of contradictions and challenges.

The artist about her work:
My works are colorful, symbolic and humorous. They are about being human. We live in a fast, impressive world full of contradictions, which makes us easily forget our focus on our simple being. Each painting deals with a specific theme and is in itself a small, self-contained cosmos. It is a time out, a moment of silence and contemplation. In my paintings, the human body symbolically stands as a vessel for inner processes as well as emotional states and theories.
