Report in the Ö1 Kulturjournal from December 23, 2019

The exhibition at Galerie Rudolf Leeb brings together the outstanding works of photography students (director: Univ.-Prof. Gabriele Rothemann), which have been created in the past semesters at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.

The artists show works that they have selected in collaboration with Verena Kaspar-Eisert (curator KUNST HAUS WIEN / FOTO WIEN) especially for this exhibition. The selected photographs, video works and sculptures deal with personal, political and cultural themes and represent the artistic confrontation with the present of a very young generation of artists.

The title of the exhibition refers to the moment which, along with the signature, indicates the end of a creative artistic process and announces a change of ownership. The work emancipates itself and begins its own existence independently from the author.

Participating artists:

CARMEN ALBER, MAXIMILIANE LENI ARMANN, SEBASTIAN EDER, FELIX FRÜHAUF, VERENA GOTTHARDT, TOBIAS IZSO, KAJA CLARA JOO, MATTHIAS KÖCK, NOAH KOLB, KATHARINA LIATSKAIA, LUCA MIKITZ, JULIA REICHMAYR, ANNA CARINA ROTH, ELISA SCHMID, MAGDALENA STÜCKLER, CARLOS VERGARA, CARLO ZAPPELLA

Verena Kaspar-Eisert speaks about the works

The exhibition is opened by LAbg. Marina Hanke.
